Car is set to self destruct at end of warranty plus 100 miles. Wait for it.

Pah I'm only at 6 years and 60K miles and already had to have a DCT pan gasket and a battery under warranty and...well thats it.
Still thats over $300 in repairs, so much for German workmanship - what sort of reliability is that?

Its War-cester-shire spoken like Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins...because everyone in the UK speaks exactly like him in that film.

Pronounce it Wusta Shur,

Of course it was tongue in cheek I have three years BMW warranty on it, and no I haven't checked the oil and yes I do have the diff grinding like most others.

I had a mapped 335i previously that required the coils etc and a 330ci that was ultra reliable apart from a Xenon failure.

I love the car, the handling is exceptional.

Good luck to you all,

veggie

You expect the car to break with 24,000 miles on it?

2011 here with 30k miles. Checked bearings, zero lead content. Still on original battery. Haven't spent $0 out of pocket yet for maintenance. Only thing troubling me that my keys are low battery.

Sup Doe?

LOL!!! ditto. I bought mine last year, first engine went pee pee (oil) then bye bye, rod bearings etc...

Motor replaced under warranty, the body has 59xxx miles on it, and the engine has about 10xxx miles. I DD this thing. Stay on top of the maintenance and it will treat you well... Just make sure you have lots of money lying around for a rainy day, trouble is just around the corner.
