GTS Parts

Hi:

I like to install few GTS parts - grills, front spoiler, etc. Where can I buy these parts?

Are the grills that many sell, all BMW OE parts or is there aftermarket too. Is there a difference in quality?

The grills are just the BMW Performance / "Edition" grills which you can get from vendors on the forum as well as at tischer bmw (getbmwparts.com)

As for the front lip, it is nearly impossible to get and even if you have a connection it is going to be VERY expensive. I suggest you get the Challenge lip as it looks very similar and is much easier to obtain. Contact GTMOTORING.

search around on the forum. i believe someone just received the fromt spoiler and it was somewhere around $4,000.

That is the GT4 lip. You can't get the GTS lip from BMW at the moment or any GTS parts for that matter.

Right Nate. I am not spending $4,000 for a GT4 lip. But if a GTS part was... $200, I would do it. I am assuming here its plastic, not CF. Since my car is still on the Atlantic, and the winter is coming I am happy to wait few months.

As to the performance grills. Are all of them a BMW part, or should I be careful to avoid knock offs?

I think the GTS plastic lip price was still around 1k+ when i saw some numbers floating around.

The GTS front and side grills are like a black chrome. The ones sold as aftermarket are matte or gloss black generally.

lol $200.. the OEM competition splitters are more than $600 so i am assuming the GTS lip would be closer to 2k.

Nope the GTS parts are matte also.

OK, do the mirror supports - the black part of the mirror. Are these matte or gloss?

I did not order the front and side grills since I had matte ones already, but all black parts on the GTS are in the same matte tone like this rear wing:

If you are looking for something different at reasonable cost. The GT4 uses the door mirrors from the E36 M3.

You could pick up a set from the breakers.

Not sure if anyone on here has done them, but if they have, I would like to see some pics.

You can't get the GTS parts at all. The wing is available since they use it on other applications (GT4).

Normally only GTS and GT4 owners get the OEM wing, others will receive the WTCC wing which is different. But I would be possitively surprised if you can manage to get it
