I'm still pretty sure that 132 MPH in the 1/4 mile is faster than 131 MPH, and 604 whp SAE corrected on a dynojet and stock internals is also higher than 601 whp SAE corrected on a dynojet and stock internals.

I wasn't aware of the 132mph trap, even though it was on a vbox, that shows some good power. Where is the vbox graph posted at?

I'm sure you could calculate it and be quite accurate, but generally in the community 1/4 mile ET's and Traps are not accepted from Vbox runs as "official," you need an actual slip, but of course we can measure here to see how the car is performing.
Wow Drew, you are nearly in the 6's, that is incredible!

from watching drew's videos (and after picking my jaw up off the ground) it's safe to say if money isn't an object the gintani stage 2+ definitely is the fastest

this may be a stupid question but why does stage 1 and stage 2 have the same price on the website if stage 2 obviously outputs more power?

So you are bot only referencing a VBOX trap speed, but also one that the graph was never posted?

That's like me saying I trapped 150mph on a VBOX, just take mt word for it

Robert,

What's wrong with you? You and AJ seem to suffer from the same problem, you speculate and assume at times when it comes to my car's specs or what's been posted, and it appears with the intent to mislead people or play games, unlike him I would hope that you would apologize and admit when you are wrong.

Let me correct you, when I first bought my kit, I posted graphs, data, etc. to back it up, even sent you the vbox files so people could download them, remember you provided the FTP?

To refresh your memory here is my thread, it's filled with the Vbox graphs that you claim are not there -

Unfortunately the OP deleted the file, but promised he would save next time and make it available for others to download and review.

Remember Mike, I believe in posting all data, all files, all graphs, all lap speeds, all video, everything to everybody. I'm not somebody who posts vBox graph after vBox graph and dyno after dyno every week and then refuses to make the files available for others to download and review for anomalies and compare against others. I would like it if EVERYBODY believed as I do and was just as open and honest with posting data. I wish EVERYBODY could demonstrate their commitment to public information and make ALL of their files available for download just like I always do.

Well, until we see a graph, that trap really doesn't mean much as it could have been a extreme slope, ect... I'm sure the car is fast and would love to see a valid graph posted.

Why would I question Drew, I know him very well and I know he would never post anything he couldn't back up. He has provided MANY graphs and files in the past and still does so. He has proven his reputation here; there would be no need to question anything he posts....

Someone can claim a time, but it doesnt mean anything untill there is proof. RIDICULOUS.

And WHAT THE F@CK!! Drew posted more dyno graphs and vbox files than 90% of the people on this forum combined! He posted all that info on his first post w/ the GINTANI SUPERCHARGED THEAD. DYNO, VBOX GRAPH, and A BAD @SS VIDEO!!!!

The statement saying drew didnt post things is just made up. Same as AJ@ESS statement saying Drew's(DLSJ5) car put down less hp/torque at low rpm than stock. AJ I would love to know why you would just make up a statement like that?!

Is there any company that stands behind their customer in case an engine blows-off?

I would have to agree that Drew Bro always backs it up. Very respectable.

For the record, I have had the 1st prodution ESS VT2-575 kit in the U.S. since last October and it has performed flawlessly. The only issue I have had is the increase in traffic tickets! LOL

My decision was based on history with previous S/C kits and also the R&D on the kit that I was interested in. Knowing that three cars, including a race car, had over 50K combined miles for testing and development before they released the kits for sale to the public told me something too.

I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend the ESS S/C kit for the E9x M3.

For the OP..... I recommend to contact some companies and customers directly and ask them enough questions and/or get rides to see how they perform first hand before you make your decision. Best of luck!

+1 ESS Kit delivers power from the low to high rpm very smoothly. If you take a look at ESS SC dyno charts, you'll know what I'm talking about. I was the 3rd customer. I could wait for a year or year and half to see other kits, but I didn't because I know about the ESS and I've hear many previous comments about them.
I know how to spend money and people are not stupid. ESS have sold more than 100 supercharger kits all over the world and most of owner are happy with the ESS Tuning. If you are active on this board, you'll know how many venders are carry the ESS SC Kit.

Most vendors will offer an upgrade to the Stage 3 kit I would think.
