Although it would be nice to get a windscreen wash reminder, this is more like a "refill-your-windscreen-washer-fluid-because-you're-almost-out" reminder.

Also, if you're getting 19.3 mpg on a 4.0 liter V8 M3, then you must be driving it wrong. Just all wrong. (Unless you got the hybrid version. I hear those are pretty sweet!)

I average the same MPG on my daily commute, it isn't bad on mileage if you drive it sane. I actually saw mine increase from 17.4mpg to 19.3mpg after I installed all of my mods, believe it or not.

But yes, thats a windshield washer fluid icon.

As hilarious as it would be to have a dirt sensor on the windshield so the car could tell you when to wash it (or do it automatically), that warning means your reservoir is running low, OP. You'll notice that icon matches the one printed on the stalk you'd use to spray the windshield. I'd attach the page of the manual that explains that warning, but people here seem to think it's rude to suggest people look there for the answers to their questions before creating new threads.

Knew this lame ass thread would warrant you blunt bunch to tell me where to go just thought I'd check anyway, being the lazy silver spoon fed young man that I am!

On another note, unfortunately got a tyre puncture earlier today (not run flats) so took it into the local dealership and had the tech take a look at it to see if it's repairable and was subsequently informed that it does in fact require a new tyre.

I fortunately took out tyre cover to avoid this kind of ball ache (max claim per tyre of £250) but the tyre to replace is £350 - no major qualms really and booked in at 10am to get done and dusted. BUT, do I take their word that the damage is such a diameter that it's irreparable or quiz them on it as I appreciate the drop in pressure could purely be down to the cold weather?

PS The tyre puncture warning light did come on so presume that the chances are that it is legitimately shagged? Thanks again guys and going forward will try my utmost to refrain from the bimbo blonde-esque questions

Can you see the puncture? Is it a nail? For the most part if the leak is not on sidewall and your tire has a decent amount of thread on it that means it should be able to be repaired. Some tire shops will even do it for free. If not, you can probably have it done for like 10 dollars. Make sure they patch the tire from the inside and not just use the sticky thing that you stab into the tire with the needle like contraption.

Also, it seems dumb that you pay for the warranty but still have to pay a substantial amount out of pocket?
