This was the first weekend driving mine after break in and yes it's a different story. If this car is like my 550I or X5 it will seem to get faster after 3,500 miles. An E46 this weekend had a hard time staying with me. There where two new Mustang GT's that would not play with me. But there stripes down the hood where cool..not

Hahaha, great story and like your honesty! Be patient and wait until at least 800 miles, but you can certainly rev above 3,000 RPM, you can take it up to and above 6,000 w/o any issues on some occasions as long as you don´t do it all the time. The car doesn´t really pull until 5,000+ RPM anyway.
