Downsizing
My neighbor has introduced me into the world of RC Cars and we were able to make this bad boy for $200.00.
Meet Mini3, a HPI Sprint 2 (original shell was a Nissan 350Z) 1/10 scale we bought off of craigslist and gave it a new life with a new M3 GT2 body and a fresh set of paint. (Keeping the lip on it for now as protection ). We were even able to find a very very similar style 359 ZCP look for the car. Truly this will be a lot of fun, and if I crash this one drifting, it won't hurt the wallet as much Last edited by hayes180; 06-18-2015 at 01:48 PM.. |

Awesome! I have an HPI sprint 2 sitting in my closet too. I need to give it some TLC..

RC cars is one of my hobbies. I was very close to buying the M3 car last month.
very fun stuff until you start upgrading parts to make the car go 50+MPH then you crash |

haha yea, I'm going to keep it "stock" and just have fun with it. I was looking at some youtube videos the upgrades people do to their RC cars are on the same level of what some of us enthusiast do to our Bimmers..

nice. My favorite is the M3 GT2 race car version. They also have a Falken Tire 911RSR as well.
Hpi Sprint 2 is company name

I think when you buy the car, it comes with a set, then you can buy different wheel/tire set combo from the company as add-ons. It's almost like buying a real car.
