When is the sports package comming out for the C63?

I heard there is a sports package comming out in 09 for the C63, which will give the car 180 top speed, better handling, and etc... Seems like someone on this fourm already got a C63 with sports package? Is the package out already? Does anyone know will there be more things comming out for the C63 in the future, or this is it? I am thinking about getting one. Thanks...

You will probably get a real answer on a Benz board. Preferably one that specializes in the new C class.

All of that should be available for the '09 model.

The package will include: LSD, better suspension, more powerful brakes, alcantara steering wheel, carbon fiber interior trim, etc.

Guess that means you're waiting for an '09 model then ?

It's called the Performance Package. I'm not sure if it's still order code 030.

Perhaps you should call the Mercedes dealership and ask them? I'd guess Mayish?

I love this car and if the gas prices weren't what they are, I would definitely wait until the '09 models come out. That package is worth the wait I think.

I'm waiting until I take one for a ride *my buddy takes delivery of his in 2 weeks*. If it's everything I think it is, I might order for a spring '09 delivery.

I took one out for a test drive and loved it!!! Some of the things in my opinion are better than the M3, like the massive torque and straight line performance, very, very stable at high speed, engine note, seats and steering wheel. Minus is over-steer, a tad too tail happy, not as much confidence on bends. See my post with pics next to M3 http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126303
