This is not an E90 - it is an E92 which is still the current generation 3 Series coupe.

There will be no more new E90 models from BMW.

Even Car and Driver had a poll on their website asking if BMW M is a thing of the past. Unfortunately only the true brainwashed members here don't see that it has. When Car and Driver, the magazine that has loved BMW for so long is asking these questions, then we have a problem.

Nice try BMW, just before the next gen model comes out they launch an overpriced version of the "old" one

I love the color with the black wheels. But agree that the price is jacked up for too little offered. The ///M performance exhaust isn't even included for this price? But for those who have money to burn, the car at least looks good.

I saw a paint job just like that the other day on an old clapped-out Honda Civic. I don't get it - thank goodness.

I took my car to BMW last week and left it for the day.... when i got back, my service guy told me my car got more attention than any of the cars they've ever had there. I'm just saying. Matte+Metallic wraps look amazing in person. My pics don't even do it justice.

In which case your comment still contains innacurate information. The E92 is a current BMW platform, and will be for about another year. It is not outdated.

Further it is not uncommon for any automanufacturer to release special edition products near the end of a platform's life cycle.

I am not saying that your editorial about BMW's business strategy has no merit, but you are not doing it favors by mistating facts.
