No snow here ...

Although there is Alpine White in the scenery!

Had beautiful 'top down' weather in AZ the past week or two, with recent temps as much as 15-degrees (F) warmer than average. So over the weekend I pulled the M3 out of the garage and headed out from Phoenix toward Tortilla Flat, along the Apache Trail. This stretch of road -- familiar to any enthusiast or rider in the Valley -- runs along the Salt River, including Canyon Lake and Apache Lake. It used to be a great road to drive/ride, but now sucks due to the pavement being scored to slow people down; too many asshats have ruined it for the rest of us. Still very scenic though, so makes for a nice leisurely drive at least.

Sedona this time of year is absolutely gorgeous! How often do you make it up that way?

Not often enough. Maybe 2-3 times a year, and we've not been yet in the year since moving back from Europe. Sedona also means picking which toy to take: The E93 for top down enjoyment along the twisty roads and full view of the red rocks, or the FJ for back country travel and the scenery along roads less travelled.

Yeah, regardless of how I feel about AZ in other ways ... it's hard to complain about the weather this time of year, especially with so much of the country in a deep freeze or under elventy feet of snow (or both!).

This was this morning. Still left the house in shorts and a tee shirt, but *almost* put on a hoody. It'll get up to around 80F today for a high.

I think in our 5 years in England, the London area only saw temps of 25C or above maybe five or six days *total*. In Phoenix, it won't even get *down* to 25C from June to Oct ... with overnight lows more like 30C during the Summer.

Now I'm moving to Arizona !
For the moment I would be glad only with 1 day such as in Arizona...

A couple thoughts. I'm not a fan of black wheels even though I own multiple sets of ARC-8 anthracite wheels, but black wheels rock an alpine white car. Car looks sharp. As for the weather, I'm not a fan of the desert but after multiple months of snow/cold, I could become a desert rat real fast.

Agree, not generally a fan of black wheels, despite my FJ having a set of satin black TRD forged, but the wheels on my M3 are satin bronze ... so it don't matter.

Really Rob you just have to rub it in. My car sitting in the garage waiting for 6 ft of snow to go away not fair. Like the car and wheel color.
