What is this "custom" BPM sport tune? Was this done by Mike Benvo?

Calling me before his flight and leaving me a message on some fitment tips n tricks. Thanks Dave for an awesome product.
My pleasure, always great to come across to Perth. That rear section is really interesting! I've never seen a Helmholtz chamber on an M3 before.
You are right about the rear section, they will be different in sound and quite radically so. Dave seems quite happy with the Borla Atak, Borla also do 2 other systems that are quieter but we are also now looking at doing a rear section so there is a totally predictable result and with the dollar the way it is it makes sense to do something locally.
I have Gintani valved race on mine and it sounded totally different again.
I'm sure an Akra would sound quite good with this X pipe too.

I'm a Distributor for Mike Benvo and we always go over customer wish lists before tuning. Each tune is done on an individual basis. Because my background is electronic engineering and IT I can offer local support and bulk freight in End user cables making some savings while our dollar looks so shabby

If you are an existing BPM customer you can contact Mike directly and he will upgrade the file for $125 US. If you need help uploading the file I'd be happy to help FOC.
Most variants of the X pipe now shown, these are now good to go. I have not yet made a set with HFC only, but you can get the idea from the images below
Data sheet available below with costings

Is there a video (sound) of the un-resonated version vs resonated version for the HFC pipes?

No, we haven't made an unresonated set yet, and no doubt it would be quite loud. The one on the video has a Borla Atak rear section and I can say all rear sections will sound different. An unresonated setup would be quite loud and I think raspy. Any X pipe is going to change the overall tone of the systems, this is rather similar to the challenge engineering sound but has much larger resonators, therefore significantly quiter. The "Track" pipes alone give a more aggressive and slightly raspier sound and increase sound levels around 20%.
So far both systems fitted are drone free (and quite loud) which is a good result especially when one is straight through
