Sebringjetta's New E36 M3 Track/s54 Build UPDATED11-23-15
BUILD UPDATE11-23-15 POST #172
well as many know i have put my e92 m3 back to stock and have decided to pick up a e36 m3. the new project will go in the same direction as my e92. street-able track car. so after a long search i was able to track down a super clean 99 e36 m3. car has 153k on the clock but looks cleaner then most with 80k.... almost a shame to modify it .... this build thread will be a long one and as always i start out with the hopes to keep it minimal but most that know me understand the builds usually get out of control.... so first off is the motor swap. i have always had a dream of swapping a s54 into a e36 m3... the motor that should have been in the e36 m3 but obviously they were born in different life times.. i was able to track down a s54 with less then a few thousand original miles... yes you read that correctly... motor has been in storage for 99% of its life.. i promised not to give specifics as to why or reason it was originally removed by a local dealership and placed in storage by that dealership... i am removing the s52 this weekend and will be out by monday... will post updates as i go along with updates on the s54 before its actually transplanted into the chassis...

Super clean E36, you are totally right about it being a sin to even modify it. I have always been a fan of the S54 swap tho it really is a match made in heaven haha

well the stuffed bear is overkill, have you considered pedo bear decals instead?
