10mm lover ride height is a huge plus for me, because I wouldn't do aftermarket and stock car is a little to high (well even the ZCP is a little high). Also having the adaptive dampers in comfort mode as well as normal mode is a neat plus.

I think they chose to lump the unique Frozen color in with the ZCP to make it seem like more of a difference between it and a regular (hate saying "regular") M3.
That made the price difference more, and gave them a bit to poke fun at as well--It is, after all, entertainment. |

to be fair JC did an awful job driving the RS5 around the track, he didn't change driving style to get the best out of the quattro.
such a shame the RS5 still can't hold it with the M, i think it's a stunning looking vehicle. |

Never mind that EDC sport setting has been available on all M3s, let alone the obscure detail that the sport setting is actually less hard in the ZCP than it was with the M3 EDC prior.

its a tv entertainment show, they are just trying to get higher ratings. I'm not even thinking too much about the result....i know my zcp would be fractions of a second faster than the normal m3(around a track).

[QUOTE=GTFan712;8964145]I loved the fact that the M3 beat the RS5, the Clarkson's review of the ZCP M3 was a bit too, well... Clarkson.
Top gear is a fun show and Clarkson is paid to entertain and of course he takes the piss, remember when he reviewed the M5 and said the M5 sat nav voice was annoying and made it seem like it he had no idea how to get rid of it (easy to cancel) But....... the fact is he is a car fanatic and if genuinely thought the ZCP made the M3 better...then why wouldn't he say so? It's not as though he is paid by BMW to promote the cars...if he were then he would have praised the ZCP additions. End of the day it's one mans opinion. Apparently he doesn't like carrots.... Well I love them. |

well, I just ordered my ZCP sedan yesterday, sort of bummed out a little with JC review. I have not had the chance to ride in the ZCP and am only going with others opinion.

You don't have to drive in sport. And sport is softer in zcp then in none-zcp

I feel for the ZCP M3 owners on this forum after the scathing review of clarkson...but considering its only $2,500 for the ZCP package here in the states-its not so bad...

and even smashing the RS5? whats that suppose to mean? the M3 is the benchmark that audi mercedes and the rest of the world are trying to overtake. you make it sound like audi is the benchmark that M3 is trying to overtake.

1) The M3 platform is a few years old and eventually it will be beaten par for par. The RS5 was/is the newest contender and the M3 still wins...hence the 'even smashes the RS5' statement. I'm happy. 2) Chill out. |

eventually be beaten? why do you assume that someone will find a recipe that will better the M3? i guess being on top all these years you assume someone has to surpass the M3. Maybe when the M3 goes turbo this will happen. and im cool
