Problem is when the GT-R with a P800 kit goes against this M3...result will be the exact opposite...the Alpha 6 is basically an exhaust and tune...love both cars.

What else does it need? GTR's with those mods have gone 10's at 130+ in the 1/4 mile, and 7 flat, 60-130. It would be farfetched to believe that a supercharged M3 on the stock block would compete with a GTR on upgraded turbo's.

(The red one in the second video posted) 2012 with intake, injectors, actuators, downpipes, no cats, midpipes, straight pipe exhaust, 91/100 mix, tune. Somewhere in the 560-570whp range

U guys do know what an Alpha 6 is, right? LOL

It's an exhaust, air filter and tune... hahah

...going against one of the most powerful S/Cs for an M3.

The VT2-650 should have a good 50+whp more than the Alpha 6.

Moving up to the Alpha 9, 10, 12 packages is where the GTR starts getting insane.

Yeah and in the second video, the only other mod in addition to an alpha 6 is larger fuel injectors ...

M3s are beautiful, especially when supercharged but let's get real here.

What are you expecting, exactly? You make it sound as if the M3 lost to the Alpha 6, lol. That M3 is a low 7, high 6, 60-130 car, not unlike a GTR with bolt ons like an AMS Alpha 6 and it cleary pulled on it. It lost to another GTR that was is faster, that beat a GTR with upgraded turbo's, and all the other FBO GTR's there.

That same M3 ran close with a ZR1, beat it once, lost to it on the rematch, beat a 996TT with A28 Turbo's, beat a 580whp R32, ran very well against a modded Z06 and modded 997TT PDK, but lost to a cammed Z06 and Proto 997TT with upgraded turbo's, and E85.

The VT625 vs P800 is in this video. The M3 is pretty quick even against the P800

An Alpha 6 GT-R is a 10sec car trapping near 130mph , that for me is already insane !!

The GTR is in its own world.

The Alpha 9 is a 9 second car, Alpha 12 is an 8 second car.

Definitely impressed. The P800 is a beast. Those runs look like it came down to who go on the accelerator first.

I would have really liked to see that M3 go against Shiv's single turbo 335.

Totally agree, the Switzer P900 won the event, beating out cars with more HP, and RWD as well.

I think I remember that video. The GTR had a aero setup for road course use, big wing. Also running a P800 on 91 octance should be criminal.

I would like to see drew's Stage 3 ESS race Shiv's single turbo. Wish drew's car was ready, he would have been killin it.
