After Market Wheels
Hi there. Just interested if anyone has fitted or is planning to fit some after market wheels to their M3.
I'm looking at some 20" Asanti 3 piece rims. Also does anyone know whether this affects the bmw warranty? |

Actually... It's not such a silly idea! (But I'm well aware of that it doesn't void warranty) Special rims makes the car perform different, it could for an example bend the ting thing that spins the wheel (whatever it's called in English). But actually, I would be more afraid of road holes and speed bumps to void warranty (which it doesn't :P).
Why do I feel like my status here got lowered by 90%? haha |

Yeah, I wanna put some really cool Asanti's on too. Some ideas, just not sure yet... yeah, 20's fo sho... Jerez & alligator chrome... This one might match the fox red interior..! Black on Black's the new thing... The new 7" lip is IN STOCK NOW! Double-dip 'em in chrome and make sure to take lots of pics.

...not a fan of chrome, but you are the one who has to drive it, so whatever floats your boat.
*Suggested Research Topic- unsprung weight and its nasty detriment to handling and acceleration. ...your car will thank you at the next turn.

How can you say such a thing...
There is a very short list of wheels that I would actually put on the m3, Asanti's are definitely NOT on that list. BBS remains in the top three...

Ha ha...I missed ADHD's post last month. I am actually strongly considering switching my vs7's from my 335 over to my m3 when I get it. Anybody familiar with the Morr's have any thoughts on this?

Posers. People more interested in making the "scene" than driving the car for what it offers. Go get a Merc if you want to make the scene.

Personally I prefer the original wheels, but if you get kicks from chrome then go for it. In any case you won't see them while driving it so clearly it's only for the show off purpose - so posers indeed !

So, by that logic, just get hubcaps. Those would be a sight.

I wouldn't do it, but maybe you could run spacers... Do you know what your wheel's offsets are? 35/35 maybe?

Get The 20inch Rims And Ride On Chrome
If you want to put 20 inch rims on your M3 YOU GO RIGHT ON AHEAD BECAUSE MY M3 IS GOING TO BE JUST LIKE THE HAMANN M3 IN JEREZ COLOR, UNLIKE THE HAMANN JET BLACK COLOR. THE HAMANN CAR HAS 20INCH RIMS AND IT LOOKS GOOD. I ORDERED MYSELF THE NEW M3 AND MY M3 WILL HAVE EVERYTHING THE HAMANN CAR HAS TRUST ME. NO FACTORY LOOKING CAR FOR ME THAT IS A NO GO. I AM GOING TO PUT 20X9 INCH CHROME RIMS ON THE FRONT WITH 245/30 ZR20 TIRES AND 20X10 CHROME RIMS ON THE REAR WITH 305/25 ZR20 TIRES ON THE REAR.
