I think thats under inflation causing that wear pattern.
Also... "Times are getting hard Guess what I'm a do Hustle, hustle, hustle, hard... " With your thread title, I had too. |

No over inflation causes center to be over full and wear faster under makes the edges stick up higher and wear faster.

I run the recommended 35 psi. I've only put 3K miles on the car since I bought it. I suspect the previous owner was running more.

This is how my last set of rears looked when I was done. I was slightly over inflated also. I think I could have gotten another 10k out of them.

you are a tad under inflated @ 33 lbs/ft. Up it to 5040 lbs/ft and you will be right around 35 psi.
33 pound-force/square foot = 0.229167 psi |

Maybe your camber is off a little in the rear. The inward tilt would make the inside of the tire wear a little faster then the outside.

35 psi is what BMW recommends. Tires are Continental Conti Contact 3.

I probably would start with the recommended 33 on the next set and watch them for awhile. Factory recommends 36 rear on mine with the 265 tires and 10 inch wheels and works out pretty good for wear with the original equipped Continentals; maybe a little center wear if I remember right.

Unless it rains where you live, there's plenty of meat on those tires.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
