E9x M3 - MSRP $559

The software removes the top speed governor, enabling the cars to attain their ''natural'' top speed; and the V8 will pull right to red-line in top gear! Changes to the throttle mapping help soften throttle tip-in for a sportier feel and improved modulation capabilities. The combination of Dinan's re-calibration of ignition timing, fuel delivery, and cam timing produce a maximum gain of 9 hp @ 6000 rpm and 8 lb-ft @ 6000 RPM. Peak horsepower is increased from 414 to 421 at 7900 RPM.

MSRP is $559 and so the sale is half of this MSRP? A tune for $280? Is this tune for the stock catalyst setup or do you need the catless x-pipe setup? How can one revert back to the stock tune if desired? Any "hard" parts required in addition to purchasing the tune?

$279.50 would be the new price with the sale. Dinan tune wont do anything that touches the cats so they can stay legal within the CARB guidelines.

No hard parts needed for this tune.

Pretty sure Dinan has a catless X-Pipe and a Stage 2 tune... I had both on my previous M3. Unless they no longer offer their race parts for some reason?

They did make both a few years ago but since then they have pulled them from their site. They switched product offerings to stay within CARB compliance for the most part.

Got this tune this past Monday at EAS on my stock E92. I like the difference. Feels a bit more powerful in the lower RPM's and is more enjoyable to drive. Was worth the $278. I probably wouldn't have paid the original price so was glad to have jumped on this.
