Keep mind I supplied a lot of parts and fluids... Here's a bit of a breakdown to help you...

Brake fluid 115$ fluid and labour

Coolant 107$ fluid and labour

Power steering 108$ fluid and labour

DCT filters 324$ labour (2.4 hrs)

Diff oil 68$ fluid and labour (they forgot to charge me the diff oil)

Spark plugs 270$ labour (2 hrs)

I had ordered the dry inspection kit from ECS tuning and used it ALL!

My DCT pan and bolts were new from recently, and so was my fluid. But a pan runs 200$ and the fluid is about 350$.

All this is CDN$

Hope this helps...

E90 with 85,000 km and I got all the fluids changed.

-coolant
-power steering
-brake fluid
-DCT oil and both filters
-rear diff fluid
-oil and filter
-air filter (done myself)
-cabin filters (done myself)
-spark plugs

In the future I'll do these myself, but I wanted all this done and didn't want to take weeks of spare time and do it little by little. Summer is short enough as it is here, gotta enjoy the M3 on the road, not in my garage, in pieces.

Anything I forgot?

The mechanic left me with an old sample of every single fluid he changed... Debating if I should send them to Blackstone... The engine oil for sure, but the rest.... Meh...

Here's a pic of the spark plugs... Good thing I changed them, I guess...

I have 44K on my car currently, and oil and brake fluid are pretty much a regular for me.
What other fluids or maintenance parts should I have changed already at the current mileage?
Check out Mike Miller's BMW lifetime maintenance program... It'll get you off to a good start...

if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to do the fluid swaps? I am looking at doing mine in a few weeks and have no clue how much it costs. Cheers

Applause. That's a great start.

You truly deserves an m3 in my book . Not like those guys who talk about modding their bought used m3 in their first forum post not maintenance. You know that m3 will never be the same after they owned it.
