clicking noise under hard cornering
I toke some hard right hand tirns and under maximum load I hear a clicking sound from the tire well, almost like a piece of tape stuck to the tire(but there is no tape or nail in tire). Doesn't happen on left hand turns. Anyone have this?

Could be a CV joint... I dunno. Could be a number of things.

I have the same noise. Last Friday I was at M Motorsport factory. I was speaking about many things with nice people there. About my servotronic problem (I discovered that all is fine but I will update the Forum in another moment), and about this noise. A very professional technician at my question told that he never eard nothing similar. He was surpriced and has given a possible answer (but strange that he didn't know anything about this problem).
It could be something related at the very thin gap between the disk and the brake pads. He told something about the possibility that under accelleration (from medium to aggressive turns) this gap could have a little change due to the angle and the lateral force applied to these parts..and this could create the noise. But still strange that it was all new for him. Twenty years of experience at M factory. Anyway I have to check better. To me the same noise is present also on the other wheel. And you can ear it only with the window open.

i have it also, on both wheels, under cornering. But, this noise is not always there.
I have taken my car for a check, and we both heard the clicking noise. My dealership has remove the wheel, check everyting, but has not detected anything wrong. According to him, it could be some dust in the hole of the brake disc. |

I have the noise too. It's like the OP described. Like a piece of tape on a tire or even like a spark noise. It's weird I can't replicate it all the time, but it's usually there after hard cornering. It sounds exactly like bills car, except he has the noise when his car is standing still:

I decided that I will put when I will have time a bullet camera near the wheel and under the car, so that it perhaps could be possible to discover whta happens. My delaer checked and told me, all is ok...But I am not convinced....
it seems to me that it is only the left front wheel...and I would say that sometime I eard it also in the opposite direction of turn, but softer.... We will see...

hmmmm his sounds different, mine is literally a clicking sound like theres a piece of tape stuck to the wheel. it gets better when I change it to stiff settings in the EDC. But I would assume that it just because the suspension is harder thus not letting the car compress fully. Also, try running over the stubs on the road between lanes. My car sounds like there something loose......wierd

Crazy, heard the noise yesterday!
Clicking under very hard long cornering...not so much speed related, more radius of turn. Sounded as if you were to place a twig or stick that would hit the spokes of a bicycle wheel as they passed. For me this would occur under a hard long/right turn, U-turn bends, with pressure on that particular tire(I was descending down a mountain road). Noise was from my front left only, very faint though. Not too worried, if the noise increases I will bring in. A guy posted a vid a week or so back and was bringing his car in. Anyone know his results post service visit?

For me, I had to be on a backroads type of area, was braking or cruising, not gasing through a corner. Basically, you can really hear your suspension as opposed to the engine or exhaust.
