Although I enjoyed the flame throwing Aventador I feel like this season premiere lacked a little pizzaz of previous seasons especially for a challenge. It wasn't all that funny of an episode.

I also found Will.I.am to be someone of a bore to interview and how dare he claim to be an automotive enthusiast driving the AT Cee'd car.

lmao I didnt even know they had autos! Anyway, that Aventador is such a beast man. I always pick faults with designs but I think this thing looks perfect. I love the stance and it does have a lot of presence. The front end, the roofline, the doors and dont forget that interior is from a fighter jet! What a car.

Will I Am definitely didn't seem comfortable on the show. It was like somebody made him go on stage.

The challenge was okay but they didn't showcase any new cars. Usually they'll feature something cool at the beginning and then have the Stig run a lap.
The Noble hadn't been shown before but they did the McLaren and the Aventador previously. And they didn't really go into much detail on the Noble.
I guess the episode just felt like it was missing something.

Btw, Noble M600 was tested back in 2009. Season 14 Episode 5.

And I did recall Clarkson put a Volvo XC90 V8 next to it saying its the same engine.

I wish they should also mention Rowland Ratzenberger's death also. He died the day before Ayrton Senna died...

That part was really cool. But otherwise the episode seemed lacking. Not bad, just kinda meh.

I'll agree with you that the interior is inspired by a fighter jet...realistically it's quite a bit more posh and doesn't monitor nearly as many parameters.
