My HPDE instructor uses these as his street/track combo pad and really likes them. The only thing he notices is that their cold performance is pretty bad, so that can make for some pucker moments when you first start off in the morning if you don't keep that in mind -- but after comparing his E36 M3 with HPSes to an E36/8 M Coupe with StopTechs on the track (not apples to apples, I know), he felt that the StopTechs faded a bit more.
The HPSes were a bit more expensive than the StopTechs, too. I went with StopTech because I read good things, but the HPSes were the only other pad I was considering.

I would put some anti-squeal past on the fronts. I'm sure the rears wear faster if you're beating on it with DSC or MDM on.
