spicoli024,

Sorry for what happened to your M3 man. Don't worry too much though, everything will turn up positive for you.

^ thanks, but there will be good to come of all this. I know it! Totaled or not, either way, I will make the best of it. It could result in an amazing track car. Funny thing is, I asked the officer at the scene if he would drop me off at the bar. He said no, but my friends helped me in that regard.

If the economy was not in the shitter I would have bought it and your mods were exactly what I had in mind (minus the front splitters + this ). Looks fantastic! Truly great work my friend. You should meet us for a track day in January so we can see it in person. Click here for the link.

i love my m3, but i'm just getting bored with it. i've wanted a maserati granturismo for a while. got to drive an old friend's GT a while back and fell in love. i can get a CPO maser GT for much less than i could get a used gt3. it's no slouch, either, but a lot "slower" than my m3. i'd love to have an x6m and a maser GT in the driveway, ideally. my car wants change very frequently, if you can't tell...although i'm unsure what i should do right now. gt3 isn't practical as a DD either...can be done, but i drive a ton of miles.

Shoot, I wish I could afford to get bored of a car that quick! I gotta keep my M at least 5-6 yrs before I move on......And even then, I'll probably still keep my M3 and just add a cool car with it. That's just my goal though

Hell, yeah! Romo looks like a new man with all that baggage out of his life on and off the field.

Just don't buy any more trucks...

I thought I was bad going through cars every two years. For me, this is how it plays out. I buy the car, promising myself to keep it stock. Within 6 months, boredom sets in and I start treating that disease with mods. Of course, there's really no cure, so once the mods are finished I keep the car for about 6 more months before moving on.

I'm hoping the M is different. I love this car, and I hope periodic track days will keep me into it.

If you were me and had both my cars and were thinking about getting rid of both to get something new that'd be a daily driver, something fast, handles well and is mod friendly what would you get?

me2! I go through cars about every year... =( I might keep this M for a little bit longer though. I bought the Tahoe because it is comfortable and easy to drive around town. No flash, no go, just chilling. But I think my next car will probably have to be a British hunk of crap or a Italian hunk of crap. One thing will stay true though... my Tahoe =)

I really enjoy the looks of the M and the "comfortable" edge of it, but I can see myself getting something newer as soon as I see a new M or a re-vamped 3-series. gt3's are nice, but what about a gt2? (with some fun upgrades...bpu?)

nothing is 100% mod friendly I would say get a range rover and a pasta-rocket ... assuming you have both cars paid off.

Blake, if you sell your car, I want it! After recent events I NEED a new car and as I said before, your mods are exactly what I would do to the e92. It is like the newer generation of my car now. Let me know when you're ready, I'll be here.

Probably a lightly used 911TT. Pretty comfortable as a daily driver, easily chipped for even more ridiculous power, and handles well once you get used to the rear-engine/RWD setup.

A '09 C63 AMG.

Go for a 2009 because I've heard there are very heavy discounts on the remaining ones on the lot. Possibly $10-15k off?

Get a software upgrade on it, and you'll be over 500 hp.

Also, it'll be a good daily driver since you'll have the convenience of an automatic, and plus you'll always feel the low-end torque while city driving.
