Here's the plan via Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/Uphxu Essentially we will meet off of Jamboree and the 5 Freeway in front of Vitamin Shoppe at 9AM and then get moving to Santiago Canyon. There's a few great spots and straightaways to stop at and we can film some drive-bys, photoshoot, etc.. We will then cruise thru Santiago Canyon and end with a small "canyon run" at which point we will conclude in Rancho Santa Margarita. It's then a pretty straight shot back to the freeway: https://goo.gl/maps/W5IvO Myself and AP3X_FTW will be at Cars & Coffee Irvine prior to meeting at The Vitamin Shoppe, so if anyone wants to meet there prior, we can do that and then head to Jamboree Rd.

E92 M3
EAS OEM Exhaust Bypass Mod EAS 80mm Tips I will be there with the above setup. Many of you (who haven't already heard this exhaust) will be very surprised at how good an OEM bypass mod sounds. I never thought I would care for it, I mean how good could an OEM exhaust sound, right? Well I purchased my e92 a few months back with this setup, and I honestly cant find a better tone out there. Prior to buying the e92, I was planning on Eisenmann Race paired with a Challenge Sport X Pipe. I find this combo to have a nice exotic, higher pitch sound and that is exactly what I'm going for. I find that most catless X pipes or test pipes create a raspy muscle car tone, and although some sound pretty mean/beefy, it's not the tone I am looking for. I think the 200 cell high flow cats on the sport version of the challenge X pipe is key to keeping this exotic tone. When I purchased my e92 with the the EAS OEM exhaust bypass mod, I couldn't believe the sound. It is not too quiet, but also not ear-bleeding loud. The DCT rev matches under M mode are absolutely intoxicating. Best part is that you don't have loud droning either. For $400-500 you just cant come anywhere near it. In addition, the previous owner installed the EAS 80mm tips, and in my opinion this really finishes off the look. The OEM exhaust is pretty ugly to be honest, and the 80mm tips really transform the look (see pics below). Now in the future, I know I will want to squeeze a bit more power out of the car and will be forced to purchase an X pipe which removes the primary cats. I have heard that the OEM exhaust mod sounds like crap once you mess with the stock X pipe. At that point I will likely sell the OEM exhaust with the bypass mod and pick up the Challenge Sport X pipe along with an Eisenmann Race.

What's the protocol here for non-E90 series M's w/ stock exhaust? I have an F80 and I'm new to south Orange County...wanted to simply hang out with some fellow enthusiasts and go for a fun drive.

Sign me up!
I have an Arqray exhaust paired with custom pipes and Secondary Cat delete. I will eventually go catless.
