For that money I'd buy a different car.

My guess is that you'll at least be able to run with a Carrera 2 with any of those stages. Probably even stock?

How about handling? I am curious as to weather the M3 will run with these cars around a track with FI? I am planning on getting the ESS 600HP kit when it becomes available. I figure I will take it to the ring a time or two to see how she does.

What price are all these mods? Do you have a link to a site for them?

When you say you'll be racing something with your new intake do you mean intake alone? If so I wouldn't waste your gas as you're not going to be any faster than you were before you changed it. Maybe a couple of bhp more but nothing that a decent run of clean gear changes won't cancel out.

I'll ask this one more time. Then I'm coming over there to clip your ears.

How much do those mods cost and can you post a link please?

What kind of intake can you change?? doesn't it come with the SK2 kit.?

I am thinking of doing the SK2 kit or wait for the VF kit. How is your car tuning during really hot days?? do you take the car to a road-track or just 1/4 mile??

Great videos! I need to see what AA's numbers will be before I drop the hammer. I like what I see with G-power.

Hey Tightie, I may be in California (LA area) with my car in the next few months. I am hoping you can give me some feedback on where to go to have which ever SC I choose to have installed. I would greatly appreciate it.

IŽd go Stage II as I think Stage III changes the internals and is more expensive but perhaps too much power for your needs. Stage II will yield an Earth shaking 600hp more or less that I think is slightly above the adherence limit of this vehicle given its weight, differential and rear size tires. With 600hp on this guy, you would blow away the likes of the 997 tt etc...

If straight line is your thing why not take the 25-30k on mods into your local Chevy dealer.
put 30k down and finance 35k on a new Z06.

Then proceed to burn everything with just a tune and some nice rubber.

Oh, and I don't think stock 997TTs exist...lol
An ECU flash and an exhaust will yield 90whp.

No clue, I have no experience at all with the GTR so IŽll let someone else handle that.

Haha!! Fair point, very few stock 997TT out there indeed. Nevertheless, GPower SII would still be very, very fast and competitive. And yes, sure you can make a VW bug go really fast straight line etc.... but the M3 chassis is a pretty good starting basis where with a few modification you can achieve super car performance, very, very difficult to do that with a VW bug so to speak. Finally, well, some of us love the looks of the M3.

LOL are you kidding ?

997 TT is 161,700 canadian starting
M3 is 71,000 starting plus add 20k for a SC and install (ESS is said to come out at 11,500 plus 12 hours labor so thats well under 20k) and your at 91k.

Hahaha!! OK, yes, I agree, I would rather have the Porsche in that case. Only reason I have personally gone with a very highly modded M3 and not a Porsche is because of the "profile" issue. For obvious reasons, I would rather not call all that much attention to me in Mexico City. And yes, both are still "sick" vehicles although a Porsche, well, is a Porsche.

Im talking about the difference in price. Of course I would pick the P-car as well but if money is no option then I wouldnt even pick the P-car...well I would the GT !
