An ESS would fit on this car but we do not want to supercharge it. We are making it track purposed. If anything we will stroker to 4.6

It isnt a cheap job. Sourcing not only requiring a 135i and a salvage M3 it takes a lot of time and effort to get it right. Just the wiring alone was an insane undertaking.

Would be fun to compare the real vs the game like @Radiantm3 does. But he is on PS3/PS4.

Once break in is complete we will be taking it to the track. Performance Technic driver Matt Powers, a few of the Ptech guys and I will driving it.

Hey Malek, I would have introduced myself to you. I was admiring your red m3. Very nice. We will be cleaning the intake bridge and adding M3 vent(s) to the hood to finish the snorkel.

Can I ask about details of the steering swap? Did you just swap over the rack from the M3? Were there any issues with the power steering?
The car has an M3 Rack, column, pump, lines, cooler and ECU. Its all M3.

Not just the scope of the build but the quality of the build. Attention to detail is off the hook.

I see many builds and I really see where they get sloppy or cut corners or just flat out dont know how to do clean work. This car looks like it was built by BMW.

Shows need a performance category, judges need to learn to understand and appreciate fabrication and engineering. Cars like this shouldnt be judged against "pimped rides". Audio delete should be worth just as many points as a 10k system.

Congrats M!!! You deserve it all and you really did deserve 1st place.
Appreciate it. Again, Performance Technic deserves the credit for the clean work. I wish I had a lift at Bimmerpost because the underside looks just as beautiful. The custom exhaust is clean and the rerouted fuel lines and gold mylar looks pretty rad.

Yes, it has an M3 diff. I had it in the description but not the modlist. All of the mechanical parts in the car are M3. I updated the original post with the diff in there.

Guys like you give BMW a great name.

I love this
Thank you. I honestly think the M division wanted to make this car but couldnt. It would not have fit into their line from a business perspective. With an S65 it would have cost as much, if not more than the m3 ( due to low production numbers) and being smaller and lighter, likely would have out performed it at the stock level.

Wow, I would love to see how this drives/fairs against the likes of the M2 (when released) and stripped down/track ready version of the M235i. Terrific build! I can guarantee there are some BMW guys reading up on projects like this and wishing they could get their hands on it for a track day or two!

Nice work otherwise.

Amazing build. I love seeing people put together cars that absolutely blows away what the original manufacturer had intended.

The fact that you are thanking peoples posts shows the calibre of person you are.

I dunno why but this thing reminds me of that guy who built the giant aircraft carrier out of Lego (
)

Took something amazing like Lego and turned it to 11
