Yeah, I saw that. I was wondering if it was an installation issue, or a product issue.

Guess I'll modify my Xenisis H8s to work for now and wait for something better.

I have a distributer that I brought my car in to within a week of getting it and we tried out multiple possibilities for white angel eyes including HID bulb GP thunder and a 65W hyper white bulb.

None worked well aside the HID. But the HID was just ridiculous. My rings light up like headlights and I could hardly even look at them.

We thought about producing a lower power hid kit but don’t think that’s possible or at least I don’t know if it is.

I can’t disclose any information about it yet as its still being developed and I don’t have the ok from my distributer (I forgot to ask if I can list names)

But just as soon as I hear word I will let you know. Because he is local I will probably be his test car when they come in.

BTW he is creating this set with the following aspects in mind:

Daylight visibility
Night visibility
even distribution between halo's
solid light (no strobe effect under camera)

Thanks. Another criteria is that they illuminate well under both parking light (dimmed) and DRL (full) brightness. I don't like the fact that they are dimmed when I just turn on the parking lights. I don't want to run them all the time, just at night or in marginal lighting conditions, and turning on the DRLs means going into iDrivel.

Well, the Xenesis H8 lights I tried to return to Bimmian cam back from Postes Canada for unexplained reasons. So, guess I'm out $45 on that deal (lights plus return shipping). Don't think I'm dealing with them again.

The problem was the lights did not fit snugly. I tried bending the tabs, but it did not help enough. I'm waiting for a good LED solution.

Indeed, you are missing something! The DRLs on the M3 are the halo/corona/angel eye lamps operated at a higher output than in parking mode. The H3 inner lights are "corner-illuminating" lights only, that operate under 40 mph on the side of a turn.

OP says not to get too excited, performance during the day is not much better or the same as GP Thunders... Not sure it warrants the price tag unless you enamored by the blue angels at night. Personally i would prefer something a little less blue...has too much of a fast and furious fell to it.

in either case though that is one sexy drop.
