If the -07 GT3 looks so outdated compared to the '10 except from taillights please show the list that shows what the new one's got and not the -07.
Was that English?

The list of differences between the 997 GT3 Mk. I and the Mk. II includes:
  • An increase in displacement from 3.6 to 3.8 liters
  • The new engine has direct injection for better fuel economy and increased power
  • Dynamic engine mounts for more engine efficiency and stability under acceleration
  • A slew of new traction control options
  • Revised suspension including a lifting front axle for low ground clearance
  • Larger brakes
  • New headlights
  • New front bumper
  • New front turn signals with LEDs
  • New front lip spoiler
  • New rear bumper
  • New taillights with LEDs
  • New rear tail spoiler
  • New center lug wheels

I'm sure there were other differences to the drivetrain and interior that I'm missing, but suffice it to say that the changes are not insignificant.

if I cared about the suspension I could just add coilovers which would be better than the stock '10 suspension.

so overall, theres nothing major really

Front end and color scheme is also changed. Performance changes are huge...

If you can afford a 3.9L upgrade and new suspension you can afford a '10 GT3

I wasn't only saying to get the '10 because of looks... but I do think the kermit and the orange schemes are a little dated now... the graphite and pink is really cool right now... so is the white and red...

GT3, but IMO the GT-R is going to be a collectable one day. If you can, hold on to it.

and I would still have a slower car than the 2007 with 3.9L upgrade.
The upgrade is about $20-$25K...

Maybe by a little, but it's still going to lack most of the features that make the '10 cool like active engine mounts, revised susp., direct fuel injection, etc. Not to mention of course a 4.0L DFI would be even better than that modded 997.1... lol. Oh, and the exterior. The Grey GT3 RS rules... orange and green were okay for a bit but they got old really fast...
