So sad. I wonder how many seconds of terror before unconsciousness. The amount of force required to tear a car in half is incredible. It's a message to all of us to drive sanely.

RIP Daniel, very sad he made a poor decision to drink and drive.
Having lost friends and the driver (a friend) in jail for drinking and driving I strongly encourage everyone to be smart, and sleep it off or have a sober friend drive your car. Drinking and driving is not worth the consequences, life is short and can be taken away in an even shorter time. Condolences to his family and friends. |

I think it's in really poor taste that some folks are posting "he deserved this if he was drinking"...etc etc.
Let's all take from this what we will about drinking and driving, etc...and thank god nobody else was hurt...but please stop bashing the guy.

I wish someone was in the car as well so they could have told him to slow down.

the most important thing (especially to all those who said he deserved it because he was drinking etc)
is that this could happen to anyone even if you're not drinking, we all make mistakes i am sure we've all crossed a traffic light on yellow didn't come to a complete stop at a traffic sign etc we're lucky that nothing ever happens but that is the definition of an accident when something unexpected happens it could happen to you today because you are drinking it could happen to me tomorrow because i accelerated when i saw a yellow traffic light just be careful, and unless you were in the car with him, please don't judge him i bet all those negative posters would feel very different if dani were their brother/son/relative/friend. rest in peace dani i never knew you, but i like your taste in cars |
