Do I have this correct??

Hey guys,

So I am looking to order a 2011 M3. I was looking at the wholesale pricing sheet for European delivery..

It says that if you get the ZCP, that the ZTP package is reduced down to $2275 which saves $685 dollars compared to the normal ZTP package price of $2960. Now, in combination of NOT getting the 220 19" wheels which saves another $1090, isn't the ZTP package technically $500 more than the standard M3 coupe with ZTP and 19" 220 wheels?

(all figures used are the invoice pricing values)

Sounds like it.

Anyone else can confirm this? I would be greatly appreciative of any help.

Yes... but the zcp rims are cast and heavier than the forged 220M... so you are basically paying a little more for a 10mm drop and (probably) inferior rims.

Which is why I'm having such a hard time deciding if I should go for zcp or not.

Sorry, they are cast wheels.

You can always get a DINAN suspension for $1200 and call it a day.

you sure that isn't the optional non-zcp 19s they are talking about? Anyway, since zcp is a 2011 only package, it might be worth it just to make it stand out a little from the other M3s. Resale might be a little better as well.

decisions, decisions....

Well for only a 500 dollar difference, its already worth it and not a concern. The 220 wheels are played out already, and the 18's don't come in the dark silver finish any longer.

They are advertised as forged but they are cast?

Care to explain?

I saw that on the website as well, not sure why they are advertised as forged when they are not. However, this is the information that has been put out on this site (and a few others). Additionally, if you were to buy the ZCP wheels separate, they are also less expensive than the forged. Wouldn't want you to buy something and have it end up being less than what you expected. I would check with a few more sources to be on the safe side.

Well I appreciate the insight. I will probably end up going with the zcp anyway cuz it offers a refreshing look in comparison to the 220's until I get new wheels. I guess the reason I don't want the 220's is because they are on my 335i too.
