They are a fully stocking dealer. I got those 275s there. Not sure about the other size.

The image is from www.groupawheels.com.

I just searched other forums, and called Fairmount Tires (http://www.fairmounttire.com/) in Los Angeles By 110 and Slauson which is 5 miles south of downtown next to USC:

Fairmount Tires
618 East 61st Street
Los Angeles
CA 90001 U.S.A.
Telephone: 1 323 750 2840

I called and here are prices:

255/35/19 = $185
275/35/19 = $195
Total of 4 tires + tax = 760*1.0975 = $834

For those of us in LA, i think this might be better unless the customer service at performance plus tires is worth the drive across Socal.

Hey Guys!

I just got back from Performance Plus in the LBC. I worked with Manny there and they were awesome. I paid $888 with $18 per tire protection plan.

Let me tell you about these tires! HELL YEAH! SICK! Handle way better than my stock PS2's did.

I couldn't run the 275/35/19's on the rear with my Eibachs and 12' Spacer setup. It was way too close. Any bumps or potholes and they would have rubbed. I can see why Le Mans Blue said it would fit but it was too close for me to take the chance. NO RUBBING!

I went with the 275/30/19 which is about 1/2" lower but 1/2 wider too. Gives the car a sick stance-even wider than previous.

No loss in handling, turn in or grip. In fact, I even noticed the car ran smoother over rough terrain like Delamo Blvd-710 Freeway-through Alhambra(Valley Blvd)and back to the crib in Eaton Canyon in Pasadena.

Love em! I would rate these tires 5 STARS all the way. And there is absolutely no way you can beat the price. I will snap some pics tonight or tomorrow and post ASAP.

Thanks to Le Mans Blue for his review and facts about these amazingly low cost but high quality tires.

If you go down there, ask for Manny and tell them Jay C recommended you. He'll hook you up!

Anybody going to EuroRev tomorrow? I'll be there for their meet. Looks like it has the potential for a nice get together.

Good to hear great stuff. I already bought my AD08's which I know are good tires, but these are cheaper and may be more daily drivable!

I understand that many people in this forum are excited about a low-cost alternative to the PS2s, but these tires "handle way better?"

How many miles were on the PS2s that you ditched?

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY BETTER".

13k (actually a bit over).

The PS2's are just soft and when going over Bullshit terrain and destroyed roads in So Cal, they don't take it as well as the Vred's.

Also the Vreds have a very agressive look and style about them. You have to see em when on but they give a very unique and defined look to your ride.

I wonder how they compare to the RE-11/AD08. Anyone try both?

I think you found the other thread about Performance Plus since you're in SoCal.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I think all of us are going with 255/35/19 for the fronts.

Based on my limited experience with the rear tires only, I would say the noise level is as good if not better than the PS2s. I think because the tread pattern is not parallel to the direction of rotation the tires are quieter and do not follow pavement grooves like many other tires (tramlining).
