My boys......are losing. I feel like the 3 years I spent at State are wasteful now. All I can say is that the riots in E. Lansing tonight will be better with a loss. Trust that.

It really doesn't matter who won because my Maryland Terrapins were the only team in the country to beat both UNC and MSU this year. Thus, we are the transitive national champions

MSU played pathetically. No one even challenged UNC during their last 4 games in the tournament. I'm just glad the 2008 KU team spanked UNC last year in the Final Four since UNCs starters were the same between 2008 and 2009.

Minus a real shotblocker. Ed Davis is top 15 in espn's mock draft for a reason. NO way we beat Oklahoma without him. And with Ty Lawson coming off an injury where he missed half the season. And without bobby frasor who gave us 4 offensive rebounds against Oklahoma, and a key steals against Duke and LSU.

Not to mention the fact that college players have a growing period. It's not the pros. They're kids. Wayne Ellington missed everything last year. One year later, he's tournament MVP.

And we almost came back last year.

All 5 of UNC's new kids on the block got their asses handed to them last year by KU and also knew they had no chance in the NBA, which is the only reason they all came back for another year. All of KU's studs from that team decided there was nothing left in college for them to achieve and left early for the NBA. And if by saying almost coming back means losing by 18 points (not to mention the 42-12 pounding you initially endured), then I have a bridge to nowhere to sell you.

also, you beat OU because they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with their outside shooting. Shot blocking was a none issue. Blake you guys inside, even when he was tripple teamed.

But none the less, congrats to Roy for finally winning it with his own players and getting that monkey off his back. KU groomed him well.
