DCT cooler capacity?

Hi guys, quick question. I'm about to order a new OEM DCT cooler because the original one is bent from a prior accident. According to the previous owner, the dct fluid and filter was replaced right before I bought the car so I'm only planning to replace the cooler and top it off. Anyone know how much fluid I'll need, 2 liters should be enough?

Buy a do88 cooler which is a far superior DCT cooler than the oem DCT cooler. I prefilled my do88 cooler and I can’t recall how much fluid it took. I had installed the Slon DCT at the same time that takes an extra liter plus you can over fill by another liter. For some reason 8.5 L total is stuck in my head and that’s why I can’t recall how much went into just the cooler.

do88 used 0.65 L so oem will be less than that amount.

With the DCT unit, you really won't have any problems overfilling it since it can take up to 1L more from the factory as per GTS fill instructions.
I would top up the DCT transmission till it starts to drip out the fill-hole and wait till it stops dripping then close her up. Then run the Oil Balancing service function on ISTA/Scanner.

For the Slon DCT pan with extended pickup 1 L extra fill + GTS 1 L over fill + std fill 5L + do88 cooler 0.4 L extra adds up to ~7.4 L total fill. Not sure why I had 8.5 L stuck in my head earlier (it’s been four-five years since I did these installs). However, the extra almost 2.5 L of DCT fluid and the larger do88 cooler makes the DCTs predictable every upshift and downshift. Also, eliminates all concerns about overheating on track. The Slon pan with the extended pickup is awesome. I know there are a few knockoffs now but they don’t include the taller baffles and pickup so , at least to me, the Slon pan is the only way to go.

Believe it refers to the top up with engine started. Preferably you'd need to be able to measure the fluid temp (32-40C).

Cant attach from mobile but 2nd PDF here: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122869

What's the torque value for the screw that secures the cooler to the hose?
