Old thread, but this was the fix for my headlights. Swapped out springs this weekend and i reinstalled the sensor reversed. Have done it 6-8 times now, just must have missed it this time around.
Thank you!

E92 335i
Hi had Eibach springs and Koni FSD shocks installed about 2 years ago on my E92 335i, and I remember having to manually adjust the headlights down after the install. Ever since I have found that the high beam doesn't go as high as it used to. After reading this thread I thought perhaps my sensors were also not quite right. But looking at them, they seem fine! Perhaps the raked stance the Eibach springs have given the car need manual adjustment after all.

So easy to re-attach these arms the wrong way at the end of a suspension install, another car fixed thanks to this thread!

Bumping the old thread,
anyone fixed their headlights that were pointing too low? I raised mine up with the screw...need it higher but too afraid to over thread the screw and damage something. Any help will be appreciated |

I just fixed my rear headlight leveling sensor too. The pics are a bit hard to see, so to simplify it:
Sensor arm facing inboard (away from spring) = Wrong, headlight aim will be too high Sensor arm facing outboard (toward spring) = Correct |
