To Amri..
How specialized do you have to be to make a set of muffler cans? Regarding my issues with quality..read the boards tons of people had issues with these brands..not just me. I think the OEM mod sounds like ass...especially when you do the test pipes. I too am glad that you are glad with my purchase... Regarding the OP...he already owns it...so whats the point?

Gintani rear section has been proven to make power; I can't find the graph either but so does Super Sprint (agreed it's marginal, but its' def there) |

When somebody drive a Ferrari and look at ur car, he would be like: what a stupid bimmer tried to be exotic. So just respect to all ppl, all cars, and all products. There is nothing wrong with a civic. There are always ppl above you.

Worst part is alot of the loud ferrari's and lambo's on the road have straight pipes. If anyone were to cut off their mufflers on their m3 people on this forum would call them cheap and ricer.

And you still call him your friend? Fuck that guy and his civic m3. All he ever does is bring you down.

u will eventually, when compared to the better more expensive exhaust there is a different in sound but this will only happen when you hear on of the better systems on another m3 flying passed

I bought my car with the Megan exhaust n I honestly love the sound, as does every person that hears it. Sometimes I think it's too quiet for me, but paying $3k-7k for an exhaust is a lil crazy too, at least to me. My top three exhaust choices are innotech evo f1, gintani race, or Meisterschaft gt2, but since my car came with an exhaust, looks n sounds good, no need to spend money to replace right now, maybe a primary cat delete or challenge sport xpipe
U won't regret it, I promise u this, u can't buy shit for this price n have it sound this good, sorry not even acm mod

I like mine as well. I have the Megan with Turner test pipes and I'm very happy with the sound quality and fitment. I don't foresee me changing set up any time soon.

Yea I was really impressed w the quality of it. I know others mentioned this but the welds were indeed very good and it bolted right up no problems and I had zero experience installing an exhaust before. Just followed a DIY on this site.

I have yet to hear anything I would replace mine with, I am on my second set as the first one I sold with the 2011 M3. Got another Megan for my 2013...although I got my eyes on a Borla ATAK with my test pipes, I am a little to worried this can be a tad to aggressive.

With test pipes I am really happy w Megan. Solid design, easy install, and nice deep sound while still retaining the m3 uniqueness qualities. I need to buy a gopro to do some sound clips.

What is installation like for the Megan
Hey Everyone,
Just got a 2016 435ix Gran Coupe and im down to the last bits of mods for 2019. I am looking at the Megan Racing MR-ABE-BF30-VO Axle Back Exhaust. Question I have is does this product require welding of the rear 3" pip to the mid pipe or can I use a clamp? I cant see to get a picture of the back side of the exhaust anywhere to make that determination. Thanks in advance |
