Work things came up. I was stuck in Madison, WI all day so I couldn't catch my flight. Hopefully PDS has extra instructors...they usually do.

Good event. I think everyone had a good time except for the newer Mustang GT that stuck it into the wall at 12-13. A nice MB tore his car apart in the ditch off track between 3 and 4. Ouch. Disapr made yellow group, so he was happy. Sally and I had a great time working on skills.

Yeah, I honestly didn't know there was a bad ditch between T3-4 which will launch and/or flip your car until this past March. I've come to the conclusion that there are a lot of bad places to go off on TWS. The outside of T1-2 and T13 (ditch...hit that, game over), the ends of T6 and T7 (trees and sharp drop off in the pavement), T4 CW/T9 CCW (wall) and now T3-4...ditch.

Sally watched a guy in front of her drive straight off between 1 and 2. Almost like his brakes were cooked. Came off the straight too fast and just couldn't get the speed down. You look down there and it does not look like a pleasant place to take a low clearance car. You are right for sure. Most corner don't look like 4 off would be easy to drive away from without damage. Our car may sound like a Marmot whistling at every braking point, but it will stop on a dime with no fade. BBK with race pads is key at the speeds coming off the bank.
