Don't rev your engine that high while at a standstill, OP. Hell I probably wouldn't even go past 5.5K, and even then just a throttle blip, not holding the throttle down. Not only is it bad for an engine to rev like that without any load as others have mentioned, but keep in mind you're revving the engine without any airflow being pushed into the intake the way it normally would be when your engine was revving that way from your car actually moving forward.
