Maybe they feel XM/Sirius has more timely/reliable/widespread traffic coverage? I haven't compared the two so that's a total guess on my part, but I can't think of any other possibility short of some consumer-screwing partnership where XM pays Porsche to incorporate their service so Porsche customers have to pay XM to get traffic info.
