After what seems like an eternity, she's finally home! The folks in Greer, SC were super nice. Thanks to Steve Thomas BMW for being my advocate. As of now, I am being taken care of; airfare and a free performance exhaust for the trouble.

I decided to take a little detour driving back to Washington, DC and do a section of skyline drive. FYI, weekday evenings are FANTASTIC! No law enforcement, and I only saw a handful of cars in my hour+ on the road. GREAT drive!

Please ignore the image artifact seen as a bumper blemish in the photo below. It's a problem with my iPhone and I forgot to grab my good camera!

The BMW factory and performance center is located there. Originally, the 3 options were Euro Delivery, Performance Center Delivery, or Steve Thomas BMW deilvery. I was planning ED, followed by PCD.

Since I live in the DC area, SC seemed the easiest this time around.

After the whole color debacle, I'm sure I could have demanded a local dealer, but it is against conventional wisdom to attempt delivery at a dealer other than the one who sold you the car.
