Project Car #2: 2011.5 M3 dubbed "Murder She Wrote" (Thanks Matt)

DEC 2011 COTM! Thank you everyone for voting, very stoked!

Alright guys, just wanted to share some photos of my car in it's finished state, and then give out reviews and contact info for the people who have been so instrumental along the way. I've gotten quite a few PMs from my build log, so I might as well air it out here an make it accessible for everyone

. With the exception of 90210 wraps, I really don't have any sort of sponsorship, and I have nothing at all to gain by putting this info out. It's been fun, and all I really have left to do is get matte black tips on my MRF axel-back!

The angel eyes on my car are the LS3 V1s with the fully blacked out headlight option. They remove the OEM rings and replace them with LEDs– which makes them very bright and have a nice beaded look. I opted for their expedited service, and the turnaround time was about 5 hours. Super nice guys, and very detail oriented.

I worked on my order with Michael at Acute Performance. He was super helpful and understanding even when I kept changing my mind on deciding what wheel to get with what options. The order took longer than expected, but this was not their fault, but rather DPE and their production of the wheels. Over all a great experience though and I would highly recommend ordering through them.

Super helpful guys that do great work. I came in with my Amuse bumpers, they did all the modifications needed to get them fitting properly. Couldn't be happier with their work and their pricing as well.

Really psyched on the exhaust from these guys. Malek was super helpful and even installed it at his house for me, and the power from it is insane. Top notch quality with clever engineering to maximize gains– I don't think you'll find a better performance exhaust system.

I really like that matte look. At least it's not all shiny.

Hmm, it would be nice if you painted the intercooler to darken the bottom middle inlet. So out of place looking at a matte black car and the intercooler screams to be looked at.

WOW... that looks sick...

now the only thing you need is the honeycomb mesh on your front bumper and rear... just to hide the inside of your car... they look cheap with it showing.

other than that... everything looks good
