Some Info on the new Jerez Black Metallic color
Got some of the paint mix facts for the new Jerez Black hat the M3 may come in
Manufacturer - BMW Year First registererd - 2007 Paint code - A73 The mix is : Color ( % of total mix ) Black ( 80%) Pearl Blue ( 7% ) Dark Violet ( 5% ) Light pearl blue( 4% ) Laser Green( 3% ) Perl White( 1% ) For reference the previous M3 color Carbon Black Metallic Paint code 416 The mix is : Color ( % of total mix ) Black ( 76%) Special Red ( 5% ) Pearl Blue( 12% ) Dark Blue( 4% ) Brilliant silver( 2% ) Silver( 1% )

A very small amount mixed in with the other colors
Remember when you mix 2 colors you get a 3rd new color

its hard to imagine this color based on the composition. At least on the carbon black, you can see the blue being a large component hence the awesome dark blue sheen on carbon black.
So yeah, jerez black would probably look like a deeper black sapphire

correct w/ 80% black of course it will, sort of like carbon black were it all depends on lighting & angles to get its full effects....I love carbon black but its too dark for me maintaining it sucks also & in my house we have too many black cars w/ black interior, but someone get it w/ a red interior I can't wait to see it
