Got done having a few beers with some friends after work today, and I came across this old beauty! E9 3.0CS!

A significant car in BMW history, to be sure. I know it's not an M3, so it may not belong here, but I can't imagine you guys wouldn't like this. If the owner was around, I would have gotten more details - maybe even asked him if he'd park next to the E92 for some pics.

Very nice example that also appears to have the factory A/C unit. Dad had a CSL way back when.

There was a spectacular one on ebay for sale. Silver with red competely restored.... It too is beautiful! If I was looking for a 3.0, I would be all over this one. Not sure what his reserve was?

That thing is an antique! A friend of mine actually has one just like it in perfect condition. I drive it all the time, and I'm always amazed at how smooth the drivetrain and ride quality is. it's a lot of fun to drive.

That's pretty sweet. I would love to drive one just to see what an OLD BMW is really like. Probably has many of the same characteristics we love about the newer models.

anyone else notice the Alpina wheels? can't really tell, but that's what they are. wonder what OEM wheels were.
