Multiple monitors or use a tv for PC gaming?

That or DVI is fine. HDMI will end up in more monitors as time goes and many new cards have this interface now. They just need to standardize a damn interface already. I don't care about the tech behind it, just keep the form factor the same.

hmm so why is DVI/mini-dvi better than vga now? Ive always had crystal clear picture from VGA. Ive also had problems with HDMI from computer to monitor/tv so ive always stayed away from that.


I built my i7 computer set up about a year ago and damn things change. Wish I kept up with it.

Personally my vote goes to the TV as long as the room layout works for you. Unless you are one of those people who doesn't think 1080p is enough (crazy IMO). I am more than fine with 1080p for gaming and movies so I stand by my vote for TV.

HDMI is the way to go IMO. What kind of problems could you have? It is one plug. If using a TV the HDMI will work great. If your monitor supports HDMI in then you really just need to make sure you are using the right graphics card. That is always the case though.
