E90/92/93 M3 Eisenmann exhaust Dyno Update!

As many of you know, we recently visited Fall Line Motorsports to dyno our Eisenmann Race exhaust system for the E92 M3. It took a bit of time to get the dyno data together, as Fall Line is in the middle of a very busy race season, but I was finally able to prepare some final information on the Eisenmann Race dyno runs.

http://www.bmwblog.com/2009/02/19/ei...2-m3-dyno-day/

I'd like to be as transparent as possible with regards to our methods of testing, so I've prepared an explanation of our procedures. I've averaged the Eisenmann test runs, to produce a more realistic number. I was not able to get more than one stock exhaust test run from Fall Line, and was therefore not able to average the stock exhaust runs. I've plotted the Eisenmann test averages against the stock test run, to produce a graph of the data. I've also included the relevant test and setting data below, and can provide the data tables of each individual run upon request, to show each individual data point.

Ambient Temperature: 72 degrees Fahrenheit
Barometric Pressure: 29.1 inHG
Relative Humidity: 22%
Correction Factor: 1.008%

Both the stock test runs and the Eisenmann test runs were done back to back, on the same morning and afternoon, on the same otherwise completely stock E92 M3, under the same conditions.

In our testing, we saw a gain of 16hp, and 11lb-ft of torque.

Eisenmann's system is an axle back section, with optional connecting pipes. That makes the power gains even more impressive, as you can still delete center resonators and cats.
