My ECU is BACK from Active Autowerke!!!!!!!

Going to pick up my car after lunch today, can't wait to drive it!

I will dyno it tomorrow and post the dyno here..I was at 382.8 before sending my ECU out.

I hope to be at 400hp+ with the AA software upgrade.

Congrats! By the looks of it, your E9X is gonna be the fastest one in T.O. so far! That's awsome! Would love to do the ECU myself but I fear warantee issues.

Why do you fear warranty issues?
its undetectable by BMW...I have been assured of this by MANY different people. INCLUDING BMW SERVICE PEOPLE

Then why do others say that BMW will reflash your computer? And if they do reflash it then your car will be flagged. Can anyone else confirm that BMW can't find out?

Well anytime BMW needs to do a software update on your computer. I.E new DCT software, i-drive fix, w/e it re flashes the entire ECU. So anytime they update your ECU it will erase your tune. Most tuners give you a couple extra re flashes some are unlimited.

That's good to know. But it still doesn't answer my question if they can find out.

No ive heard from a few sources they have no way of telling.

They CANNOT find out....it is impossible.

Like I said, the BMW foreman at the service reassured me that they cannot see it!

The ECU flash might be given away if you have Launch Control with the AA ECU. But I do not care, that is for sure!

Picked up the car, but sure enough it started snowing.
But it feels damn good...I feel some low end power now...which is what this car needs. I hope to dyno it tonight...but needless to say I am very happy!

If you got the "Launch Control" option that AA has in their software for MT6 cars, it will be pretty obvious to a tech that something's up if they rev the car over 4500 and it holds RPM there.

Mayb you have to do something to initiate the 4500 limit? U do have a point tho. Ppl that have done it, can you chime in with this question?

I assume that you would put the car in 1st while pressing the clutch and then hit the gas. The car would stay at 4000rpm and then unleash its fury once you dump the clutch.
