E92 M3 with hand controls, BBS E88’s, Varis diffuser, Akrapovic, Dinan and much more

Hey everyone I’m new to the forums but not new to M’s by any means. I’ve previously owned an E46 M3 and currently own an E92 M3 with a G82 M4 on the way. I wanted to share my E92 with you all. I was injured four years ago and I’m now paralyzed so I had to mod my E92 with hand controls. I was told I wouldn’t be able to drive cars like this anymore and it almost broke me. I was determined to prove them wrong so I went to work on my E92 and these are the results. Below is a list of current mods and I’ll share updates on the build since I feel I am close to being done(at least with major part purchases.)

I’m currently putting a varis under tray on and ran into some problems with my current exhaust setup. I am running a Meisterschaft GT2 exhaust and it is getting in the way of the varis diffuser. Unfortunately I have to part ways with the exhaust. I was able to get my hands on a slightly used Akrapovic titanium exhaust with the titanium x pipe. I will run just the Akrapovic muffler with my Fabspeed x pipe. Photos below of the fitment issue

It’s something I haven’t really shared until now. I’ll definitely show more photos of the hand controls and the interior itself. Should get the car back today or tomorrow morning

I should get the car back tomorrow afternoon. Varis diffuser is getting put on after all the fitment headaches we’ve run into. I had to have the new akrapovic system attached to the Fabspeed X pipe. Now the Arkym diffuser is going to have the fins trimmed down to fit the Varis diffuser. Should be ready to go by tomorrow and then my car will finally feel complete.

What is your fabspeed x pipe consisting of? Is it the high flow cat with resonators? Or catless? And could you make a sound clip?

I have an Akrapovic slip on and am planning to add the challenge sport x pipe.

It has cats no resonators. I still wanted to pass smog in California. It did sound really good with the Meisterschaft. Unfortunately I couldn’t connect it to the Akrapovic.

I finally got my car back after lots of fitment issues. Mainly with the Meisterschaft exhaust so I unfortunately had to replace it along with the fabspeed X pipe. I had to run a Akrapovic full titanium exhaust with the titanium x pipe as well. It is definitely not as loud but it does sound good. I will say the quality and sound of the Akrapovic system is great and probably the best on the market but the Meisterschaft had a deep howl that the Akrapovic clearly does not have. I will miss the Meisterschaft very much. Oh and the Varis fit pretty well with the Arkym diffuser. They also chassis mounted the diffuser for better stability and airflow. I will post more photos below

Here are some photos of the hand control system. It is electronic meaning the system has to be switched on with the press of a button. This turns off the accelerator pedal allowing for the throttle to then be controlled through the hand controls by pushing down. In order to use the brakes you push forward with the hand controls.

You have the best looking E92 I've ever seen. Mine is stock for the most part now but I'm looking to follow in your footsteps.
