2008 E90 M3 6-Speed Silverstone/Black (New Engine)
Sale Pending PRICE DROP 2008 BMW e90 M3 for Sale with a true 6-speed manual transmission. This car has been impeccably maintained and all the main maintenance issues have been addressed by Braman BMW under a CPO warranty. The throttle actuators were replaced at 65,000 miles, the engine was replaced by BMW due to the notorious rod bearing failure at 62,000 miles, the ignition coils were replaced at 60,000 miles. I have all maintenance records to verify these repairs. Since the motor has been replaced the oil has been changed every 6,000 miles and I have Blackstone Oil Analysis from past three oil changes to show the engine has a very clean bill of health. This car has never been in any accidents and is very clean. The exterior has limited stone chips and no noticeable dents. The interior is very clean and looks much newer than you would expect for a 100,000-mile car. Interior trim is scratch free and shows very little wear. This is an excellent driver quality M3 that will not disappoint. I have loved this car but am ready for the next one. Price: $20,500 OBO VIN:WBSVA93518E041100 Miles:103,000 Transmission: 6-Speed Options: Cold Weather, Premium, Navigation Modification: Eisenmann - Sport Exhaust Michelin Pilot 4S tires on all four corners I welcome and encourage a Pre Purchase Inspection Major Maintenance Items all completed while under CPO Warranty by Braman BMW -Throttle Actuators @ 65,000 miles -Engine replace with short block @ 62,000 miles -Ignition Coils Replaced @ 60,000 miles I have all maintenance records to verify repairs plus other miscellaneous repairs over the cars life. The car drives great and shows as a much lower mileage vehicle. I am selling because I bought a rare spec'd 2011 M3 Last edited by MoonShot; 03-26-2019 at 04:38 PM.. |

Damn you and your timing. I'm just now starting to consider buying another one and a hell of a deal pops up in my neck of the woods. I won't be ready to buy for another month at minimum while we finish our move.
I think your price is great. Wish I could pull the trigger. |

Thanks for the feedback. I have looked at many e90 M3s now and it is really hard to find well-kept ones outside of this forum. I had been looking for my 2011 M3 literally since before I bought this car. I loved that the 2008 is a great driver quality car, I bought it so I did not need to rush into the dream car.

agree, nice car and price.
one quick question though... the engine was replaced at 62,000 miles, then 3k miles later the throttle actuators went bad on a brand new engine? talk about bad luck! Last edited by dinkman; 02-26-2019 at 07:00 PM.. |

Dinkman - the replacement motor was a short block so the original engine throttle actuators were transferred to the new one. All I can say is thank god for CPO and this all happened at the tail end of the car being covered by the CPO warranty.
E34nication - I would rather not accept any trades. My wife already thinks I am insane for buying a slightly nicer/newer version of this same car |

No accidents. Oil changes every 4,000-6,000 miles. Last three oil changes a sample of oil has been sent to Blackstone for oil analysis. Engine only has 40,000 miles on it. |

While I do agree with this. My new M3 does not have Idrive/navigation and I have lost the M button as a result. This means no M Dynamic Mode or adjustable steering feel. Both of which I miss. M Dynamic Mode is a good middle ground for driving spiritedly without worrying about crashing the car. I did not realize this would not be available on non-Idrive cars.

Unrelated, were you at Mellow Mushroom in Brookhaven a couple nights ago? The wife and I went there after we dropped my Mini S off at the dealership. Saw a 2008 Silverstone E90 in the parking lot - can't be many of them in the area! If so, it looked fresh! |

Nope, my 2010 doesn't have an M button either. I prefer it, as I hate messing around with electronic assists. I just want to get in the car and drive.

Mine was slicktop, no i-Drive/nav, manual Speed Cloth, no EDC, 6MT, etc. Literally the only option listed on the car was "Smoker's Package" which gave an additional cigarette lighter. But I did have the M button. Anyway, not to steer away from the ad. Good luck! Wish I wasn't in the middle of job changes, moving, and the blast of life. I'm itching for another 4 door... |

I know my 2011 without i-Drive DID have an M button, but it looks like <2011 did not. Anyhow, carry on! |
