Apples and oranges of course. One is a hugely expensive, powerful and beautifully built luxury cruiser and the other a relatively entry level, very powerful sport sedan weighing 1800 pounds less.

By the way my Suzuki SV650S motorcycle with 63hp would eat the 335 for dinner.

Thanks, Mike.

I remember one Top Gear episode where they test drove the new Maybach and I think it was something like 3 or 4 tons (6000-8000 lbs).

the Maybach also depreciates like crazy. More than almost any other car.

i bet if u do the math....the bmw w/ jb1 is under 11.5 lbs/per whp....where the bentley is probably over 11.5/lbs/ per whp. not a huge difference, but its still a difference. also the bentley continental final drive ratio is 3.31:1 and the 335s (auto) is 3.46:1 i think. so thats a little bit of a plus in straight ahead speed. So all in all, if he an aggressive tune like a JBX or Vishnu V3 he would have absolutely DESTROYED the bentley.

Wow, thats the same kind of motorcycle that tried keeping up with the CBR600 and GSXR1000 in the canyons when I was in my 335i. The SV was so far behind us we lost sight of him. Too bad you couldn't have joined us.

I bet the guy in the Bentley could afford to buy something or do something to beat you though.

Still feels good to know my car can do that.

What's hilarious is that we all love our E9x's, that's why we're here. But making it into something it's not reminds me of the guys in the gym who are constantly looking at themselves in the mirror.

I saw an ad in the paper for a July 4th sale--the Bentley is $2300+ per month, sale price, financed over 84mos. Wow, that's so cheap, think I'll run out and get me one!
