As we all know BMW has an algorithm for priority for older MYs and hot and humid location cars.

If we can all start recording when our fixes happen in this thread in this manner:
1. Date of fix
2. MY
3. Model (any BMW model)
4. Registration location history
5. Which airbag(s) fixed

Here goes:

1. 8/19/2017
2. 2008
3. M3
4. 2 years in PA, 3 years in Ohio, 4 years in CA
5. Driver side

DO NOT REPORT BMW DEALERSHIP LOT CARS. They had to be fixed before it's sale, so it's not part of the calculation of priority.

this car was in a bmw dealership i bought the car without seeing it . i couldnt take it home until the air bag was done. i orginally purchase it in mid august.

Crappy mccrapperson. Mine is a 2011 always in nj and they have yet to fix mine.

Thanks, but I made it clear, situations like yours should not be posted. It specifically shows BMW going outside of their protocol to fix these cars earlier

Read my above post and original post. It's posts like these that confuses people. His car was a dealership sold preowned car, they were required to fix it before selling it, and earmarked an allocation of parts just for this car

To have parts for inventory. I've called NA and complained.

Rats! I just called BMW NA, gave them Flying Aces name to speed things up, they informed me that I was scheduled to be done this year, but because I gave them his name, I was reassigned to February 31, 2018.
