Wow. Hard to believe. Guess their not making them anymore. Glad I got my set 2 years ago. Indy said then there going to get harder to get.

I could just buy regular racing seats and still have over $10k to spent on other things if I had a choice

I thought the seats are out of production? That's probably why the prices are so absurdly high.

They are out of production but you can get them reproduced to exact specs for far less than what they are charging

It doesn't justify the hefty price tag but I think many people fail to remember that the BMW Performance Seats retain the side airbag and three-stage heated seat option which is something that hasn't been reproduced by the alternatives. My leather Recaro Sportster CS seats are very nice but I do miss the heated seats during the cooler months.

Yes it can be replicated as air bags and heating is an option and the bmw seats had 2 stage heating from memory

Airbags are not an option in the USA and the heated seat function from Recaro is a standalone system that places the button on the seat. BMW performance seats are plug and play with the OEM switchgear. Also, the heated seats on the US Recaro Sportster version do not mention more than one stage of heating while my E90 most definitely has three-stage heated seats as ordered.

Then you guys are getting screwed with the airbag

I actually don't want the airbag but we have to have them

I don't mind the heating being a button on the seat the less
complicated setup the better

But when you consider 14k vs 5.5k here that's a big difference

This price is absolutely overpriced for two seats
I prefer to go to the saddler and let the seats be adapted to my wishes Itīs still cheaper
Here`s a new limited edition by Recaro, leather with carbon structure:

I would never order from IND again based on my previous experiences with them. Doesn't surprise me that they are price gouging these seats

Nice seats...

Incidentally the price is per seat. So $28,000 for 2!

So I guess I shouldn't believe the webpage you linked where it says the $14,000 package includes two (2) seats?

It's right down there at the bottom for everyone to read:

"Package Includes:

Seats equipped with heating, side airbags, belt tensioners and seat rails. (QTY2)"

Also, the entire product page refers to plural items. (seats, seat backs, etc.)

Why do you need an airbag in the seat?? Do our seats have airbags in them? I know we have a side curtain bag.

I remember a pair that was for sale here in 2008/2009 that the guy couldn't sell and he had to keep dropping the price. I think they sold for around $2,500 for the pair.
