Quick question: would there be any benefit to swap the stock pistons for Mahle's 10 or 10.5 on a 'standard' VT2 625 without any other component change, ie not going VT3? Rotating mass gain? Endurance? Heat?
If so, spec would be great?

Thanks OM. The point is I am not looking to make more power, just enquiring if there would be another benefit to non-OEM lighter/comp pistons, like response, durability or temps? Keeping 12:1 cr but different manufacturer or material?
