That's most certainly Sepang Bronze which was first available for the E60 M5.

In this picture we can see how easy the paint is to scratch, nothing out of the ordinary,

Really cool though all those extra colors. Thanks for sharing.

Dammit Jim...

You couldn't just lie to them and say it was Estoril.

Is it really available? I used to work in NC in 2008 and our BMW rep told us that IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.

The storys we see and hear are unique (M6 in gold) and if you read through them you will find that the client contacted BMW Germany directly....

If not, I'd be happy to be proven wrong!!

BMW-NC

P.S. in Military sales it is NOT available, that much is sure ;-(

Yes, it most certainly is possible for M3s (and the 3 series). Several people in the U.S. (myself included) have gotten an Individual color (aka "special order color"). It seems like they started to become available in the U.S. for M3s with MY2009 and Individual interiors are becoming available with MY2011. Many dealers will say it's not possible because they do not know people have gotten Individual colors and BMWNA has not formally implemented the Individual program for M3s (or the 3 series) in the U.S. Just point them to the "Individual color picture thread" on this site and then they'll know it can be done!

on the bmw canada website you can configure your car with some individual colours (moon, avent, ruby, azurite), so they must be available to us customers as well.

am i the only person that thinks matte will go out of style pretty soon? i mean everyone and their mother matte foiled their car, and i know factory matte is different, but still. i'd take a standard metallic color for now, i still love frozen grey, just not to own.

Agreed.

I think the novelty of owning a 'matte' exterior color would wear off pretty quick for most people.

I've been to car shows where a few decked out show vehicles were painted in this fashion, and up close it looks great...

...for about 10 minutes.

Then it's just...meh.

which probably explains why BMW is releasing frozen grey as a time based special color, as in, i heard it'll only run for no more than a year or so.

I totally feel the same way.
I also thing that after a year you would so get bored of a matte colour and regret your decision, not to mention resale would be difficult because its a very niche market colour.

man.. u confused me a bit with the far right and the silver pink when it was far left.. i was wondering why moonstone looked like aventurine silver?

i saw this the other day on the road.. is it brilliant white? did look different from the normal colours... cant see how the cost can be justified for this particular colour...

sorry about the crappy nokia photos..

im definitely considering the moonstone though!

brilliant white is a nice color, but too luxury in my opinion, it fits on a 7 series or S class but not on a 3 series or M3 due to the sporty nature of those cars.

I ordered and made the downpayment for my 2001 M3 and have until tomorrow for april production. It is a E92 M3, ZCP,M-DTC ,Carbon fiber roof and carbon fiber leather interior trim. I have until tomorrow 12 eastern to decide on the exterior and interior and interior color. I loved the Space Gray +fox red but thanks to MarM got a photoshop of Jet Black and individual platin interior. If you have any opinion please let me know. By the way the the dealer told me that for my country the 19' 259M were in Gunmetal. Same as the standard 18".
